Our Story

"We are more than just a cheerleading program;

we are a family!"

Diamond Athletics was established in 2015 with the mindset that we could offer children in our small town something MORE - more opportunities, more experiences, and more confidence building moments. Diamond Athletics started in the upstairs of a pole barn with 11 athletes doing business as New York Icons South from 2015-2018. Over those three years we began to established ourselves as a strong competitive program and in 2018, we decided it was time to return to our roots  – Diamond Athletics. By doing so, Diamond Athletics has grown to something more than we ever had imagined.

Diamond Athletics is more than just a cheerleading program; we are a family, we are mentors and positive role models for our athletes. Our coaches take pride in training the entire athlete by focusing on physical, mental, and emotional growth white teaching safe, progressive, skill development. Being a part of our program teaches confidence, discipline, and leaderships skills that are necessary on and off the mat. 

 

At Diamond, we truly believe that we CAN change lives. We hope that every athlete walks out our doors a better person than what they walked in, with the fundamental life lessons to help them be successful outside of our building.
